Ah, Steve, I'm so sorry to hear. How I adore "weird little companies"! And it sounds like you created a phenomenal one. I always think... companies don't need to last forever. Sometimes, just like humans, they come, create magic, and go. I hope amidst all the sadness you're feeling pride too. P.S. Thank you for the shout out <3
Hey Bree - I had a hunch you would appreciate "weird little companies"! :-) And you are right - nothing lasts forever (sadly) and I am very grateful for the experience of a lifetime with an incredible group of people.
So sad to see your old team disbanded. I'm sure they'll all go onto amazing new adventures and Pacific Content will always have legendary status. Don't be sad, celebrate what was and what will come next.
Thanks, Rebecca - it was an amazing journey with a very unfortunate end. The culture is probably the piece that was most rare and that I will cherish the most. Just awesome, awesome people!
A different company is was and that is PRECISELY why I loved working with the y'all. Being different can be a gamechanger among spaces where game recognizes game. So, while I'm sorry for the situation, I want to emphasize that I as a former client/partner, I can affirm how unique the value prop was/is and how well understood that was/is among many.
You and the Atlassian team were such a treat to work with on Teamistry, Christine. You knew your values, you know what made you unique and special, and obviously, you championed great teamwork - a match made in heaven!
This is so sad. I was privileged to freelance with Pacific Content and it was always a fabulous experience, from pitching to the chase to working with great editors, and always getting paid promptly. One of the best! Stellar company. You’ll be missed.
Very sad news, Pacific Content was something special. A big company wrecks it again, I hate this podbiz era

Well put, Rhys! Thank you so much and keep doing all the great work that you do in podcasting, too!
Building a respected company from scratch is always something to be celebrated, and getting culture right is always difficult.
